Child care is a continuous learning process and problems are usually a stepping stone in learning more about children. Biting is one such problem that has to be handled with tender loving care. A biting child is a negative child and has to be tackled with immediately. Whether it is a home care or a day care or whether the child is just with siblings, a child who bites has to be taught the rules. The howls, the reactions, and the pain that the other children have to go through is a major cause of concern and has to be given special attention.

Experts are offering many solutions about how to handle a biting child. The best tip about this behavior from children is to make sure that the solution is given immediately. Tried and tested advice show that the situation has to be handled on an emergency basis.

Usually children bite out of frustration and one has to have a consistent firm approach towards this. A firm voice without yelling would help. Children at this age are still trying to understand themselves, trying to comprehend the concept of feeling hurt. Once you show the child, you are there to handle the frustration and ensure that you are there to handle the dramatic emotions, the feelings of negativity subside.
