Recipe of Coffee Cocoa Face Pack

There are many food items that can be extremely effective in treating skin problems. Two such ingredients are cocoa and coffee. The names of these two ingredients itself enough to allure our taste buds, but they also come with some benefits for our skin. Cocoa is filled with beneficial antioxidants whereas coffee acts as a gentle astringent. These properties make the two ingredients extremely suitable for people with normal-oily skin. Apply a pack prepared with these two ingredients onto your skin and see your skin glow like never before.

1) The ingredients that you will need to prepare the coffee cocoa face pack are: 4 to 5 tablespoon organic coffee (choose the whole bean variety), a small bowl, a coffee grinder, 4 tablespoon cocoa butter, a mild cleanser and ½ cup of organic cream.

2) Make sure that the coffee you sue is absolutely fresh; fresh coffee is filled with natural oils and helps in cleaning the skin pores from within. Put the coffee beans into the coffee grinder and prepare a fine powder. Put 4 tablespoon of that powder into the small bowl.

3) Now, add the cocoa butter into the coffee. The cocoa butter you choose must be of high quality and be absolutely fresh. The unused part of the cocoa butter must be stored in the refrigerator. Fresh cocoa butter is essential for making this face pack as with time its healing properties tend to diminish.

4) Now, add the organic cream to the coffee-cocoa butter mix. Stir all the ingredient will and you will get a paste with mud like consistency. If you feel that the paste is not thick enough you can add a little more cocoa butter and coffee powder.

5) Now one the pack is ready, clean you face using a mild cleanser and water. Apply the pack evenly all over the face leaving the eye areas empty. If you have enough pack left, also apply it on your neck. Wait for 20-30 minutes for allowing your skin absorb the ingredients used in the pack. Finally, wash your face using warm water. This coffee-cocoa face pack is extremely gentle in nature and can be used regularly.
