Inherent Cures To Infant Worm Infection

Submitted by on July 14, 2009 – 3:38 amNo Comment

Children are at a higher risk of being infected by worms many of whom live in the intestinal tract and some in the rectum. The classic symptoms include itching which worsens especially at night, bad breath, abdominal distension, gas, cramps, diarrhoea, decrease in weight, mucusy stools which sometimes turn bloody.

Ginger and garlic have been proved very effective in wiping out the parasite. These can be administered in novel ways to the child. One can blend garlic cloves, about four in number to 330ml of apple cider vinegar and let the blend remain enclosed in a closed storage box at normal temperature for a period of two to three weeks. The blend can be filtered to remove the garlic pieces and then mixed with honey and given 3-4 teaspoons to the child with weight not less than about 23 kgs and the age above 2 yrs. A tablespoon of one part of the mixture apple cider vinegar with two parts of fresh apple extract is just as helpful.

If garlic is a put off for your child, crushed garlic cloves can be stroked into the base of their feet in circular massaging movements, which is a proven entry technique through the blood. Shredded carrot-beetroot, pomegranate juice, papaya juice, pineapple juice on an empty stomach acts as a good deterrent. Herbs like rosemary, thyme, sage can be put together with ginger and chamomile extract in equal proportions-about half teaspoonful each and brought to a bubble. This decoction should be filtered, cooled and about a cupful dose be given to a child weighing no more than 22-23 kgs.

The dried, pounded leaves of woodworm shrub when given about a quarter teaspoon mixed in honey aids in killing the worms. Freshly grinded cloves are also a great cure.

The boiled, strained and cooled concoction of a small cup of de-shelled pumpkin seeds in 250 ml water can be given to resolve any worm problems. The juice extract of bitter melon mixed with honey is an ancient remedy for worms.

Fenugreek, licorice and peppermint infusions are known for their anti-bacterial properties. Fennel powder and honey has germ destroying power. Capsicum the key constituent of cayenne is an effectual herb to combat the parasites.

The dehydrated, pounded green hull of Black Walnut is a treatment for a whole host of parasites. About 15mg of the powder can be mixed into honey, probiotic yoghurt or molasses and given to the child.
