The researchers of UMMC suggest taking a daily dosage of 240 mg ginkgo biloba for experiencing maximum memory improving effects of the herb.

Rosemary: The findings of a study conducted in the UK suggest that aroma of the herb rosemary helps in stimulating our mind and boosting our mental performances. This study was conducted on 144 people; during the study the reacting ability, attention, working memory and long term memory of the participants were evaluated. Rosemary is being used for stimulating our mental abilities since the ancient times; over the years, several researches have been conducted in different corners of the globe for finding out the effects offered by this herb in treatment of memory loss and other mental irregularities. Most of these studies have revealed that the aroma of rosemary is responsible for making the herb effective in treating memory issues. As a result, herbalists suggest using this herb as fragrance through air fresheners or diffusers. You can also inhale rosemary essential oil by adding a few drops of the oil in boiling water.

Root of ashwagandha: Ashwagandha root is widely known for its stress reducing properties. The root of this herb induces relaxation and thus might improve one’s mental condition and memory extensively. The ideal daily dosage of Ashwagandha for improving memory is 450mg.
