Many of you would have felt a lot of discomfort when we eat a lot. This is a condition caused due to bloating. Bloating is caused when you eat foods that cause this problem. If you do not want bloating then cut out on all the fizzy drinks and also foods that cause such a condition. Wind is caused due to eating a lot and eating the wrong food. Sit down to eat and then make sure you have a lot of exercise too.

Many of us get this feeling when the tummy is stretched and is uncomfortable and is also puffed up. This happens if you have had food beyond your capacity. If you tummy or stomach is blatted it could be due to constipation, excess wind, swallowing air, irritable bowel syndrome and food intolerance.

For avoiding problems of bloating, you have to stop eating foods that cause this problem. So make sure you avoid onions, beans, broccoli, sprouts, cabbage, and cauliflower. But you should surely eat five portions of fruits and vegetables every day.

Constipation is a common problem if bloating is not there. You should have a fibre rich diet for constipation and drink many fluids. Take a brisk walk at least four time a week so that you can have good bowel function.

Make sure that you do not swallow air. Do not talk while you are eating and also sit down to eat sitting upright. Do not slouch and try to reduce the fizzy drinks that you normally like to drink. Do not chew gum and if you are then chew with your mouth closed. Excess intake of air leads to this problem.

Sometimes there are food intolerances. This normally happens when the bowel does not empty well. This is also seen when the food is causing too much gas. The best way is to eat food that is good on you stomach.

Wheat and gluten products cause many problems… They cause discomfort the best way you could avoid it is to stop buying it. Keep a food diary for two weeks and eat whatever you want to. See which are the foods affecting you, which you do not like, and which are the foods you like. Do not get rid of food groups without taking advice from your genera physician.

If you are suffering from irritable bowel syndrome then there is bloating. Bloating is not directly related. It is only that the bloating of the bowel syndrome is connected to excess wind. It is said that due to many contents through the bowel, it is imperative you eat the right food. It helps to cut down on all the high fibre foods. Peppermint t and capsules are sweet so you would not have a problem eating them.

In this manner it is seen, how much food affects our system and how much you can change the pattern of eating so as not to have problems like bloating?
