Angelica is an aromatic biennial herb grown widely in north Europe. The herb has erect stalk, greenish yellow flowers and spindle-shaped fleshy roots. The seeds of Angelica are off-white in color and oblong in shape. Since ancient times, Angelica is used for cutting a number of ailments. Below we have discussed the most common health benefits offered by the herb:

Use of Angelica should be strictly avoided by pregnant women as this herb can induce miscarriage. People having history of atherosclerosis or heart attacks should also stay away from this herb.
