If you are a patient of arthritis then you should be knowing about what fitness and exercise regime you should observe and how. Arthritis is a condition where only exercise would give you relief. Exercise is something gives you a great sleep pattern increases your energy levels and maintains a healthy heart. It also increases your strength of bones and muscles and decreases your depressed state of mind. Exercise also is the best way you could regain your self confidence.

Healthy joints need a lot of healthy exercise. Moving the joints everyday helps them to be fully active. It is important that the muscles that surround the joints give you good support and that the movement of the joints helps to transport the waste products and the nutrients to the cartilage and from it. The material that cushions the bones and protects them is the cartilage and it is important that you maintain it well.

Ensure that you do your exercise well during arthritis so go for the range of motion exercise and aid to move each joint well during the exercise to the maximum capacity. These are exercises that should be done everyday to help the joints keep completely fit and to help avoid deformities and stiffness. Patients have a lot of pain and they normally tend to avoid moving their joints in complete range. There are many who believe that normal activities help the joints to move completely but this is not so as these activities are not substitutes for particular exercises.

Arthritis has to be taken care of with the help of strengthening exercises and this helps to increase the strength of the muscles. The strong muscles ensure that you can support the joints and would give you more stable joints. You can move very easily and with little pain. There are two types of strengthening exercise that you can do – isotonic and isometric. While isotonic helps to improve the muscle strength, Isometric exercises help to tighten the muscles. One doesn’t have to move the joints for this. these exercises are very useful when the joint is impaired.

then you have endurance exercises which are the basic physical activities that tend to increase your heart rate. Your heart rate can be computed on the basis of your physical condition. By raising it the endurance exercises only improve your fitness. Endurance exercises are normally done three times a week sot that one can build on the effectiveness. Sometimes patients with arthritis have said that with the help of endurance exercises they are able to increase the physical strength, improve the symptoms of arthritis and are able to develop a better kind of mental attitude.

Patients with rheumatoid arthritis have a lot of problems with the damage to joints and there are many limitations that hinder the activity. Endurance exercises for arthritis patients should be chosen carefully such that there is no joint injury.

It is a good idea to discuss the exercise and come to a conclusion. There are exercises which are out of limits as they cause a lot of damage and there are exercises which result in totally helping the patient to recover well. One should know how exactly to deal with the condition.
