De- bloat and Float

Stomach bloating is not in any link with obesity. Many people misunderstand bloating as the extra set of pounds running around the tummy. This condition occurs when one overeats under the impression of hunger and later on suffers from a well blown, dilated abdomen. The major reason of stomach bloating is the gas of the intestines. But, like there are hangover fixtures that shun the alcoholic hangover, similarly there are de- bloating foods and drinks that relieve the bloating condition.

Contradictory to the people’s misconceptions that fluids, juices and water are the causes of bloating, the best de- bloaters are fluids and juices. Watery fruits like watermelon, musk melon, papaya, plums, etc. are the best de- bloating foods. Fresh juices of vegetables and fruits, but the ones without added sweeteners, are also helpful in releasing the stomach from painful bloats. Juices of bitter gourd, gourd and Neem leaves are also good de- bloaters. Warm, skimmed milk is a good de- bloater, when taken without flavors and sweeteners.

Too much of cooking, oiling, roasting and grilling the food is the greatest cause for production of gases in the stomach, causing bloats. A little light behavior with the foods helps us keeping the stomach lighter. Eating uncooked, boiled or lightly cooked food for some days will aid the bloats well and relax your stomach. Have veg. salads or stocks and soups when you feel hungry at odd times. Use of oil is strictly prohibited once you decide to switch on to the de- bloaters. Non- vegetarian diet will delay the process of de- bloating. Hence, avoid it for the time being. Eat your meals in smaller quantities. No overeating. For satisfying the in- between meals hunger, choose carrots, celery, salads and juices. Keep away from caffeine and alcoholic beverages for the while, to ramp up the process of de- bloating.

What a bloated stomach most needs is the removal of gases of the intestines. They need to be flushed out some way. Water helps as the best de- bloater. Drinking as much water as possible causes the gases to flush out of the body through various ways. Try drinking 1 glass of warm water in every 20 – 30 minutes. This clears the gases gradually and does not cause any ill effects of over drinking of water, like vomiting. Accompanied with all these methods, practicing exercise daily also relieves the condition of stomach bloating.

So, next time when you need to attend a party in the eve and you are down with a stomach bloat, just try any of these methods and diets. It would definitely relieve you somewhat of stomach bloating.
