Pregnancy is a condition when the bones, joints and muscles are in a constant state of being altered. The entire boy structure is altered during this condition. Relaxin is a substance that helps to soften the cartilage and the ligaments. The joints are not as stable and are always susceptible to injury. When a woman is pregnant, she gains a lot of weight. This constant change in weight is what makes it necessary for the woman to take care of her bones.

The physiological and anatomical changes that take place during pregnancy have the capacity to produce an effect on the bones and the muscles. The joints undergo a lot of change and thus the woman needs a lot of rest.

The weight gain during pregnancy increases the pressure on the joints and causes problems on the knees and the hips. These natural forces acting on the joints cause a lot of postural changes and there is considerable discomfort for the pregnant woman.

Joints are sensitive and become prone to becoming unstable as the hormones are released. There are visible changes in the centre of gravity and this is what results in incorrect position and posture.

Bones, joints & muscles are sensitive areas of the body and require a lot of care and caution. The bump in the abdominal area increases as the pregnancy advances. The bigger the bump, the more the weight increases. The balance and the centre of gravity changes as the pregnancy grow. The body is not as stable as it was during the pre pregnancy time.

The pregnant woman has to be careful regarding her growing weight and has to ensure that she does not affect her bones, joints, and muscles by bearing down with too much weight.

Pregnancy has lot of connection with the bones, joints & muscles in the body and the more the weight grows, the more the condition worsens so care has to be taken.
