As you open up the shoulder blades, your arms are at rest and you would feel the relaxing technique working on you. The palms would face upwards, the legs would be straight and firm and you would be able to release the weight of your body slowly and find it weighting down into the pelvic region. The pose has to be held for around five minutes and most yoga practitioners hold the pose for as long as quarter of an hour too.
