Want to grab all the happiness and be hale and hearty. Add some goodness to your routine, mark my words you will attain the most joyousness that you haven’t met yet. Even research has confirmed this; it says that benevolence can boost your mental as well as your physical health. Also researcher Stephen Post, Ph.D. at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine says “It’s good to be good, and science proves it.” Step ahead and get to know about acts that can enhance your health and turn your world into a paradise of bliss and ecstasy.

Reach Out to Stress Less
Are you filled with delightfulness? So, you are the perfect choice for this. Didn’t get my point? I am explaining… Actually, the National Institute of Health monitored the brain activity of the people who voluntarily distributed money as a part of game instead of keeping it with themselves. When they did this charity, it was reported that a brain part got activated which released hormone called ‘Oxytocin’ that provides relaxation and ease, shares Jordan Grafman, Ph.D, who is also the chief of the cognitive neuroscience section of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Oxytocin is also the one which connects you to others more intimately when you embrace someone or breastfeed a baby.

Try to get engrossed in altruistic activities whenever you are free, whether it is promoting literacy, lending a helping hand to others or even taking a street dog to the animal shelter, do it and experience the pleasure.

Witness Kind Acts to Boost Your Immunity
Not only performing the acts of kindness but also observing them can boost your mood. This was found through a study initiated by behavioral psychologist David McClelland wherein he scrutinized some students who watched the documentary of Mother Teresa in which he found a phenomenal growth of immunoglobulin A. It is an effective immune cell that strengthens your immune system.

You too, try the same as the students did, watch generosity by bringing collection of munificence movies. Or whenever, you get to witness it live on the street or somewhere else for real, don’t run away. This will enhance your fitness.

Fill a Void with a Healthy Habit
Instead of letting an ill-habit develop in you, try to spare it by becoming a part of a charitable act or by helping others. Don’t let bad habits enter your lifestyle like for instance when people get stressed, smoking, drug addictions become a part of their life. Replace them by helping others which will lead to an increment in your levels of endorphins and dopamine that will bring in happiness.

When clouds of depression enter your life, catch up with philanthropic activities, step forward voluntarily to help others. This will bring a ray of happiness and provide for contentment in your gloomy life. Instead of letting addiction sprout in yourself, get in activities like cleaning the park or beach.

Strengthen Your Heart by Opening It

Don’t perceive wrong notions that only cholesterol and blood pressure are the reasons for keeping your heart healthy. Even psychological feelings like anger, antagonism, hatred, self centeredness have been found to be the underlying causes for heart attacks and premature deaths.

This was found in the University of North Carolina where researchers tested medical students spanning between the age of 20’s and scrutinized again in their 50’s to gauge the hostility levels. The results that were found were striking as they clearly state that those who had scored high in the negative feelings in the 20’s, were susceptible to coronary diseases around 4 to 5 times rather than those who scored low. And incidentally, research findings from Corporation for National and Community Service says that in countries where people serve as volunteers have the lowest levels of coronary diseases.

To lessen your negativity levels, you try to face some deprived people and see how they standup with their problems boldly. You try to sharpen your patience by teaching tuitions to children and visiting old age homes or nursing centers. This close observation will help you to recognize and empathize with those who are unprivileged.

Heal Others, Heal Yourself
It is obvious that if you are baffling a chronic disorder, you will end up with heaps of frustration loading your head. Keep a significant factor in mind that if you will help others with something or the other, then you are sure to remain healthy for a long-stretch. A research has shown that people who were going through a tough phase of diseases like multiple sclerosis and HIV, stayed healthy for long after they helped others who were suffering from similar kind of problems. This was probably because they socialized with others which kept the gloomy feelings like loneliness and isolation afar from them. These factors which seem to be insignificant, can actually dwindle the health conditions further. And helping others can render positive results such as it can enhance self-esteem and confidence.

Put yourself at someone’s disposal by lending a helping hand, although it is not necessary that you aid everyone, if you help others who are suffering the same ailments then also you can facilitate your help. Indulge yourself in voluntarily assistance or seek remedies how you can aid others.

Share Your Time to Live Longer
A research reported that around 2000 people above the age of 55 who assisted others were 44% less likely to die during there 5 years of monitoring. And those who stepped forward for helping for 2 to 3 NGO’s had 63% less mortality rate compared to the non-volunteers. These figures can’t be achieved even after exercising 4 days a week, isn’t it surprising? So, get ahead on your own and aid others to live longer.

Become an active volunteer of aiding community centers where citizens render help from their part. Or get engaged in groups which are your faith-based or senior citizens that voluntarily render help.
