One doesn’t need a fat pocket to make one look stunning. As we date back to the times of the Cleopatra era to the Romans, women would enhance their beauty with the optimal use of natural sources in their immediate surroundings. It’s all about optimizing the best resources available in everyday routine. One such potent source is fruits. One such important fruit is apple known not only for its excellent reserves of multiple nutrients for consumption, but is very effective for that much envied glow when used externally on our face.

The tried and tested packs of apples for that oh-so-lovely skin:

  • Take a teaspoon of apple juice, about two teaspoons of cooking oil and the white part of an egg and whisk it to a smooth consistency. When applied and kept for 20 minutes gives a noticeable difference.
  • Another option with apples, a blend of white part of  egg, half part of mashed apple, two tablespoons of brown sugar, and  a cupful of oats when heated slightly and applied and kept for about 20 minutes gives that exfoliated look.
  • Another tip is, one could simply mix two slices of mashed papaya and two tablespoons of mashed apple, a small spoon of fresh cream and clay.
  • One could try the blend of a half slice of skinned apple, the yellow of the egg, a tablespoon each of ascorbic acid and honey and two tablespoons of cooking oil. One could leave it to dry and then clean it of for that peaches and cream skin.
  • Apply the mixture of two teaspoons of honey, half portion of an apple which is to be mashed finely and the entire pod of vitamin E for a period of 15 minutes for that fresh face look.
  • Get respite from sun tan by blending an apple with a teaspoon of glycerin and applying on the face for 10-15 minutes.
  • Dry skin can be treated by applying the pulped mix of about two or three apples on the face for about 15 minutes to be later washed with cold water. Another option is to put an entire apple, about two tablespoons of honey and a half ounce of crumpled sage leaves in a mixer, to be applied on face and kept for 15 minutes.
  • The combination of apple with vinegar when applied on the face significantly reduces the redness of pimples and leads to their disappearance eventually.
