WHO Cautions Against Homeopathic Practices
The World Health Organisation has disregarded the effectuality of homeopathy and has issued a caution stating that those ailing with life ominous diseases like HIV, tuberculosis, influenza, child diarrhoea and malaria must not depend on homeopathy for effectual cure. This was a rejoinder to appeals made by scientists belonging to the Young Science Network who are apprehensive that the endorsement of homeopathy in the third world countries could place the lives of many ailing individuals in jeopardy. Dr.Robert Hagen, a bio-molecular science scientist from the University of St. Andrews and a part of Voice of Young Science Network has stated that globally, governance must identify the perils of supporting homeopathy in case of life-menacing ailments. He further added that by increasing vigilance of WHO’s stance on homeopathy, they would be helping individuals desist the use of these highly ruinous practices.
