But a new study which was partially funded by the Campbell Soup Company has discovered that drinking a glass of low sodium vegetable juice definitely helps over-weight dieters to shed oodles of weight. The results published in Reuters, a reputed news agency said that adults who chugged at least eight ounces of vegetable juice as a part of calorie controlling healthy diet lost four pounds of week over a period of 12 weeks. However, the people who followed the same track of dieting but did not drink vegetable juice just lost a single pound.
Intake of vegetable juice also helped them by increasing the levels of vitamin C and potassium and at the same time it decreased their levels of carbohydrates as there body got nourished with three to five vegetables a day. [...]
