Handy Cures To Natty HandsOne can incorporate certain practices into our daily routine that will go a long way in maintaining supple and radiant hands. The milk that might have gone spoilt can be used as an excellent way to brush off dead cells or one could simply add some fine/coarse sugar whilst washing our hands with foam wash for the scouring effect. Sugar can be blended with olive oil too and massaged into the hands, covering the hands with gloves and leaving for a while, washing off later to reveal smooth and clear skin texture.

Fruits based applications are quite effective for the hands. One can make a blend of fresh pomegranate extract and enough soya flour to make a thick paste which can be applied on the hands and left on for 25-30 minutes, thereafter washing it off. A pack based on the blend of pureed apple and papaya with a dash of lemon oil has significant benefits.

One can make a great hand soak by placing 2-3 tablespoons of Rosemary, Thyme, Calendula , Fennel powder in boiling water and let it come near tepid state and strain. One can add sea salt to the extract too. Soaking your hands in the warm infusion for 10-15 minutes helps relieve dryness, eczema and irritated skin. Horsetail can be added to the above herbs if one has weak nails or some infection in the nails.

Soaking your hands in such baths helps relieve hand arthritis, rheumatic pain, ease aches and cramps. One can follow up by applying a good moisturiser, jojoba or olive oil.

Grinded Oats mixed with milk or yoghurt, a few drops of lime extract, a tablespoon of honey and applied liberally on the hands and left for 20-25 minutes and washing it off in circular massaging movements afterwards to reveal lighter and smoother toned skin on the hands.

One can make this effective hand lotion from the things you find around your house.  Take about 3 tablespoons of white vinegar, juice of half a lime, about half a cup of rose water, glycerin and few drops of eau-de-toilette.
