Presently, there are nearly 140 filler products that have flooded the markets that assert their stance at being the idyllic, instantaneous solution to combating undesirable ageing effects. These are infused into the system by beauty therapists who proclaim they are highly adept at reducing the signs of aging.

Though several such centres employ doctors for these injection procedures, it has not averted the mostly ensuing permanent facial damage. There are cases of women shelling out nearly three thousand pounds on the original treatment procedure, followed by spending thousands more pounds further for removal of those substances by surgical intervention. A rising number have been advised to go for Britain’s National Health Service restoration surgical procedure.

Most of these injected compounds harden much similar to concrete, subsequent to their infusion under the skin, while others tend to circulate around or form granular structures beneath the skin. A majority of those that faced such undesirable consequences presumed that it was a rare incidence where matters went haywire. A few have been offered money to stay mum regarding their marring facial bulges. Though some patients have sought legal action, but for a majority it has been a daunting task to verify the marring was caused due to the outcome of a product use or splotched procedure.

A congregation of nearly thirty women attended a meeting in a London Hotel intending to launch a campaign to pressurize the government to standardize the cosmetic treatment industry. A few women who were among the initial ones in Britain to go in for the Bio-Alcamid cosmetic anti-aging inject-able fillers, complained about the appearance of an inch and above lumps in the cheek area. Bio-Alcamid is a product that is made in Italy. A speaker for the British dealer of the product persisted that the problem was caused due to improper injecting procedure and that was nothing wrong in their product.
